Dear Students,

As a community, we continue to navigate the effects of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and to work within the guidelines of the Government of Barbados. There have been many changes to how the delivery of classes has been executed, and you, our students have had to adjust over a short period. We have heard your concerns and will continue to minimise and mitigate as much of the disruption as possible.  Over the next few weeks, many of you will be working towards a final grade for the semester, and we wish you success in all your studies.

The Barbados Community College will continue to support students of the College, whilst simultaneously maintaining the academic standards. The Final Assessment period for programmes and courses for semester 2 of this Academic Year 2019-2020 has been scheduled for June 2-12. In some instances, despite various adjustments, some Final Assessments will need to be deferred due to the nature of the programmes and courses being undertaken. Please be assured that efforts will be made to prevent your being disadvantaged. The College will continue to work with all students to ensure that measures are implemented to allow for the successful completion of your studies.

Students can click on the link below for the Final Assessment schedule for their Divisions. You will also be able to see the list methods of assessments in the various Divisions. Please be guided accordingly.

If there are any conflicts, students should contact their Divisional/Departmental Head. Students will also receive notifications from their tutors and instructors in relation to the Final Assessment period.
