Are you a creative and innovative person?

 

The Division of Fine Arts is offering four new one (1) year certificate programmes you can choose from commencing in September 2020.

Certificate in Home Furnishings

Programme Description

The programme is geared to develop the student’s skills in various areas of Interior Design and application techniques. The courses aid students in developing skills both in technical and design areas. The certificate is geared to foster the student’s creativity and encourages innovation and experimentation. Upon completion students will be able to further their studies in the field, work as seamstresses, work for designers, assist decorators/event planners among others.


Certificate in Wearable Art

Programme Description

The programme is geared to develop the student’s skills in various areas of Art and Fashion. The courses aid students in developing skills in technical and design areas. The certificate is geared to foster the student’s creativity and encourages innovation and experimentation. Upon completion students will be able to further their studies in the field, work as seamstresses, work for designers, assist decorators/event planners among others.

 

Certificate in Fashion Accessories

Programme Description

The programme is geared to develop the student’s skills in various areas of Art and Fashion. The courses aid students in developing skills in technical and design areas. The certificate is geared to foster the student’s creativity and encourages innovation and experimentation. Upon completion students will be able to further their studies in the field, work as seamstresses, and work for designers and stylists among others.

 

Certificate in Basic Tailoring

Programme Description

The programme is geared to develop the student’s skills in various areas of Art and Fashion. The courses aid students in developing skills in technical and design areas. The certificate is geared to foster the student’s creativity and encourages innovation and experimentation. Upon completion students will be able to further their studies in the field, work as seamstresses, and work for designers and stylists among others.

 

Admission and Graduation Requirements

  1. Prospective students should have a keen interest in the field.
  2. No qualifications are required.
  3. All courses must be completed and passed.
