The Barbados Community College Industry Services Unit invites applications for admission to certificate courses. Please continue to visit this page for the next date for classes.
 

Application forms can be collected from the Office of the Registrar or download the application form below. Fees are payable at the Accounts Department between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and are non-refundable after the second week of commencement of courses. The ISU reserves the right to alter programme availability, content and requirements to meet changing conditions. Introduction to Occupational Safety and Health

This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge ans skills to effectively organize and operate a safety program for any size or type of industry. This intensive forty-five (45) hour course is for those interested in learning about safety management responsibilities, although it is also an excellent review and update for an experienced safety professional. This course is the first of three that prepare participants to meet the Occupational Safety and Health Level 3, National Qualification Barbados (NVQB).

Risk Assessment 

Basic First Aid 

Construction Safety 

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Ergonomics and Human Factor Engineering

Class days: Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
