  Favorite spot on campus: Upstairs in the library
  My favorite activities: Volunteering at charitable events, reading

  My advice to the new students would be: Make every day on campus a new adventure. Make wise use    of your time. Make networking and forming alliances with likeminded individuals your mission and       remember to work hard and work smart.

 

Leandra Durant  Name: Leandra Durant
  Former School: Christ Church Foundation School
  Programme/ Majors: IT, French, History
  My favorite activities: Exercising, hiking, reading, writing, listening to music, watching Asian dramas   and coding
  Favorite spot on campus: The library
  My advice to new students: Don't be caught up with newfound freedoms. Don't skip classes, take   good notes, and meet deadlines. Remember, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Time     management is key.

  My favourite activities: Sunset & Sunrise Watching, Hiking, Volunteer Work, Tutoring, Studying     Mental Wellness & Baking
 Favourite spot on Campus: No specific spot; each spot carries its own individual and fond memories.
  My advice to new students: Ikigai (ee-kee-gaee | A Reason for Being) – Have a direction or purpose of   life, that makes your life worthwhile. The discovery of your ikigai brings satisfaction and a sense of   meaning to life, so take spontaneous and willing actions to improve yourself.



Hailee Bannister  Name: Hailee Bannister

  Programme/Majors: Law, Sociology and History
  My favourite activities: Dance, Art & Cooking
  Favourite Spot on Campus: Benches on the main road across from the canteen building
  My advice to new students: Don’t be afraid to ask questions and to express your interests. There are more opportunities present than you think.

  My favourite activity: Eating, Baking, Gardening, Anime
  Favourite spot on campus: Technology Rooms
  My advice to new students: Coming into college is something new and different from what you may know. At first you may find it difficult and you may feel stressed out but after some time you would get used to it and it will feel easier. Don’t be afraid to make new friends and have a little fun. Just remember to study hard and keep good grades.

  My favourite activities: Going to the beach, Writing, Volunteering, and Spending time with friends and family
  Favourite spot on campus: The Library
  My advice to new students: College is your new step in life, the time to discover something new about yourself, meet friends/acquaintances, and have new experiences. However, learn how to balance and prioritize, time management skills are absolutely necessary to explore all that college life has to offer. They will always be activities, social gatherings, school functions, trips, homework, and final exams. Part of life is managing the time we have so I would advise you to learn this early in your college life.

 

Yoniqua Williams  Name: Yoniqua Williams
  Former School: Windsor High School, Barbados (2017 – 2019)
  Tacky High School, Jamaica (2013-2017)
  Programme: Associate Degree in Business Studies
  My favourite activities: Baking, reading and travelling.
  Favourite spot on campus: The library and the benches that are located around the campus.
  My advice to new students: Put God first in whatever you do. Always be open-minded and remember that you don’t know everything because you are here to learn. Also, pay attention to what your tutors are saying, make sure to do your course work and study. Do not be afraid to ask for help when you need it. But most of all, be authentic and kind to others always.

  My advice to new students: Put your best foot forward. Stay focused and don’t get caught up in the wrong crowd. Study as much as you can because it will benefit you and most importantly, relax, have fun and give yourself the best chance to grow positively.
