Congratulations to you on satisfying the requirements for the prestigious award of the Associate Degree, Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor Degree and any other awards from the Barbados Community College.

 2016 Graduation Class


It is now time for us to join together with your family and friends at the Annual Graduation Ceremony, to celebrate your wonderful achievement. You are allowed to invite a maximum of five guests to the ceremony. No tickets are required.


Date:               Saturday, November 4 2017


Time:               5:00 pm


Venue:             Sir Garfield Sobers Sports Complex


Please note that you are required to be at the Complex by 3:00 pm so that the necessary processional and seating arrangements can be made.


Graduation Attire

Graduands are required to wear ceremonial attire consisting of Barbados Community College’s gowns and capes. Underneath the gown, ladies should wear a white or off-white dress while gentlemen should wear a white shirt and dark coloured pants OR a dark coloured suit with a white inside shirt.

All payments should be made directly to the College’s book store, The Book Source.


Gown Rental:                                       $140.00


Gown Collection & Payment Period:   October 16th, 2017 – October 20th, 2017


Collection Time:                                  9:00 am – 3:00 pm


Returns & Refunds

Gowns and Capes must be returned by Friday, November 10th, 2017. A refund of $40.00 will be issued to you once all items have been returned to the College free of damage.


Refunds will be issued in the form of cash when the items have been returned to The Book Source. However, there will be no refunds for gowns returned after November 10th, 2017.


Collecting your Certificate

Certificates can be collected from the College the week following the graduation ceremony.  Graduands must collect certificates within twelve (12) months of graduation.



Persons graduating with the Associate Degrees should collect their certificates from the Student Affairs Office.
