The Barbados Community College Physical Education Department as part of their community outreach programme for sports recently held a one day Futsal Tournament for primary schools.

The Primary Schools’ Futsal Expo Tournament which is in its fifth year was held on Wednesday 19 June, 2013. Forty-five students participated from four schools within the catchment area of the College.

The winning team from St Cyprian’s beat George Lamming who took second place with Charles F Broome and Sharon Primary placing third and fourth respectively.

Special awards were also presented to Cody Mayers for the most goals, Seth Agard, best defender; Tyrique Belle, most valuable player and the St Cyprians Team for sportsmanship.
