Sammawah Downes, a 2012 graduate from the BFA Studio Art programme in the Division of Fine Arts was announced as the first prize winner in The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development Art Competition, held as part of the activities for Education Month, October 2011.  Participants were asked to design a flag for the Ministry.  Sammawah was recently presented with the grand prize of an ACER Netbook from sponsor Illuminat at the awards ceremony, held at the Ministry's headquarters on June 26th.  Congratulations Sam!
