The Documentary film “Barbados Surfer Girl” recently won four Awards of Merit at the Los-Angeles Best Shorts competition in the categories of Documentary Short, Sports, Original Score and Fitness/Nutrition and BCC has cause to be proud of this tremendous achievement. 

The documentary focuses on the remarkable accomplishments of Chelsea Tuach, daughter of Margot Tuach, Director (ag) of the Language Centre.  Andre Woodvine, part-time tutor in the Division of Fine Arts (the Centre for Visual and Performing Arts) won for best original score.  And editor of the documentary is Stuart Hall, a graduate from the BFA Graphic Design programme, also in the Division of Fine Arts.
