Wednesday, 4th October 12pm  Higher Education Session - #1 This webinar is the first step for students meeting with a counsellor one-on-one to discuss their higher education journey. Students only need to attend one of these webinars. This webinar covers topics such as, accreditation, finances, scholarships and how to decide if an institution is your best fit. Thursday 19th October 12-1pm Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) Meet with the Representative from Toronto Metropolitan University and hear what the university has to offer. Pathway opposite Guild Lounge
Friday 20th October 1-2pm UWI Cave Hill Transition Programme for BCC Students Session 1 Interested students will engage with staff from the UWI to learn about the differences between the two institutions and how they can begin to prepare themselves for the transition. Friday, 27th October 1-3pm UWI Cave Hill Transition Programme for BCC Students Session 2 Students will build on the information provided in the first workshop and will engage in a discussion with OSSD staff about the elements of being a successful student at the UWI and the resources available to assist them along the journey.   UWI Cave Hill   Open to students who attended session 1.

Thursday 2nd November 12pm Identifying & Assisting Students in Distress Staff Only This workshop explores how to identify students in distress & what appropriate steps staff can take to offer support. Local mental health resources will be shared. In-Person Counselling & Placement
