The Barbados Hospitality Institute is a full-service hospitality training facility offering a wide range of hospitality-related courses and programmes. It is the first training facility of its kind in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean. The Institute consists of the Hotel PomMarine, a twenty-four hour operation with 20 guest rooms, the Golden Apple Cafe, the Muscovado Restaurant, and a number of purpose-built classrooms. The Institution, therefore, plays an important part in meeting the human resource needs of the tourism industry.
