The Office of Research has responsibility for the provision of data and information to inform decision making and policy, to suggest appropriate strategies to solve problems in the institution through Research, to collect, collate, analyze and report on data and statistics for educational planning, forecasting and student success.

The functions of this office also include the collection of general data and statistics, preparation of proposals for funding and facilitation of the departments, divisions, faculty and staff of the  Barbados Community College in terms of their research interests and needs.
