Overview

 “The robotics industry is slated to grow significantly in the coming years. Robots are expected to perform many useful tasks such as cleaning and transport.

The Barbados Community College Divisions of Computer Studies and Technology will equip students with the knowledge and skills required to create robots from the design phase to the functional phase. Students will be introduced to the Python programming language for robotics.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Prospective applications should be at least 18 years old;
• Have obtained English Language CSEC General Proficiency Level Grade 1, 2 or 3 OR
• Any qualification considered by the College to be equivalent to the abovementioned;
• Applicants who are 25 years old and over who do not process the required qualifications will be considered
