The Division of General and Continuing Education is primarily responsible for the general education component of all Associate Degree programmes at the college. This component consists of four compulsory Core courses: English and Communication, Ethics and Citizenship, Caribbean Politics and Society and Practical Mathematics; and general electives taken from three categories: Humanities, Social Sciences and Physical/Biological Sciences.
In addition, the division offers a number of short term/ one-semester courses to the general public under its continuing education mandate.
Our lectures/tutors use current methodology and traditional subject matter to equip students for careers across various sectors.
