The Barbados Exhibition shall be awarded to students in the Associate Degree (BCC) who must:

1. Attain at least a Grade ‘A’ in each of two-thirds of the courses in their main field of study and at least a B+ in each course in the remaining one-third of the courses in their main field of study;
2. Attain a Grade ‘A’ in one of the core courses, English and Communication and Caribbean Politics and Society and no less than a ‘B’ in the other; and
3. Attain a GPA of at least 3.81 over no less than 72 credits, including 60 credits in their main field of study.

General Criteria

Please also note the following:

1. Students who repeat a UNIT or COURSE at CAPE, CXC Associate Degree, or BCC Associate Degree would not be eligible for the award of a Barbados Scholarship/Exhibition;
2. Students must complete their programme in two years to qualify for either a Barbados Scholarship or Exhibition; and
3. Students must not have attained the age of twenty (20) years at the time of the examination.

NOTES:

1. Students who meet these criteria may be nominated by the Registry to the Ministry of Educational Transformation.
2. Candidates for any of the awards must be citizens of Barbados, children of a citizen of Barbados, or children of any person who is ordinarily resident in Barbados and has been resident for a period of at least seven (7) years.
