The BCC Library is committed to the advancement of knowledge and engages in the identification, acquisition and dissemination of information and resources to fulfill the teaching, learning and research needs of its information users. The library nurtures an organisational culture that values efficiency, innovation and effectiveness.

How to Use the Library

The Barbados Community College provides information services at the following locations:

• The BCC Main Library
• The Language Centre Resource Centre
• The Hospitality Institute Resource Centre - PomMarine

Each of these locations is equipped with trained, dedicated staff who can assist you with your research needs.

All BCC students and staff are encouraged to fill out a membership form at the Library’s Circulation Desk at the start of the academic year. A valid BCC ID is required to gain access to all library services. Orientation sessions on the use of the Library are held during the first two to three weeks of the first semester, depending on the demand for the sessions.

Opening Hours

The BCC Library is available for use by all students and staff at the below times. Members of the public who are desirous of accessing the library are required to apply to the Deputy Principal for permission.
